"Spot: The Video Game" for Game Boy is a puzzle game released in 1990, based on the 7-Up mascot, Spot. The game features Spot, a red dot with eyes, on a quest to rescue his kidnapped friends, the Cool Spot characters.

The gameplay revolves around navigating Spot through various levels filled with platforms, enemies, and obstacles. The objective is to collect enough "Cool Points" to progress to the next level and ultimately rescue Spot's friends.

Spot can jump and attack enemies by bouncing on them with his feet. Throughout the levels, players encounter enemies such as spiders and other hazards to avoid. The game also includes bonus stages where Spot rides a skateboard, collecting more points while avoiding obstacles.
